The courses are beautiful and rolling throughout the foothills surrounding Lyons, CO. They include paved paths, gravel, and dirt sections. You’ll get a little bit of everything!

5K Course

Runners will head out from Bohn Park on gravel paths towards the open space trails. This becomes a dirt road (watch for mud after rainy spring days) and at one mile there will be an aid station. From there, the course heads west toward the Picture Rock trailhead. Once runners reach that trailhead, they will turn around and travel back past the aid station and take a right into the neighborhood. After a section on the neighborhood roads, you’ll enter the scenic gravel paths and from there head to the finish line.

10K Course

Runners will head out from Bohn Park on gravel paths towards the open space trails and follow the same directions as the 5K. Once runners reach the Picture Rock trailhead, the road becomes a picturesque paved rural road and runners will take a left turn on Old St Vrain towards the turnaround. At a 1.6-mile marker on the pavement, runners will head back toward the aid station. From there, it’s back to the trails the runners came out on. Pass the aid station then take a right into the neighborhood. After a section on the neighborhood roads, you’ll enter the scenic gravel paths and from there head to the finish line.
