A Multi-day Mountain Adventure It's the ultimate trail running adventure. Four days of jaw dropping views, lung burning ascents, aspen dotted hillsides and carefree ridge running. You carry your gear for four days, while your sleeping bag is transported and your tent and water are provided. And because its a race, deciding what to carry on your back is all part of the challenge. It's like trail running meets adventure racing meets expedition. However you think of it, its one of the most challenging "weekend adventures" you will ever experience. Racers can check in Thursday morning and arrive home Sunday night in time for work on Monday morning. So where is it? Wouldn't you like to know? Each spring, we'll announce the race's different mountain destination but the exact course isn't revealed until the night before the race begins. We can tell you that the course will consist of four stages with distances ranging from approximately 10-25 miles per stage with check points stationed along the course every 5-7 miles.
